Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning is a blade-leveling technique performed to exfoliate the topmost layer of the skin with the added benefits of removing vellus hair, or “peach fuzz”. This treatment leaves the skin clean and smooth - A wonderful choice for an instant glow.

By removing the top layer of skin, products used during facial procedures are able to penetrate more deeply into the surface of the skin. Dermaplaning is also excellent to rid the face of excess fine hairs which can often accumulate dirt and oil. 

The treatment is safe, pain-free and requires absolutely no downtime. The entire treatment lasts about 45 minutes - 1 hour and 15 minutes. It is recommended that clients schedule a Dermaplaning session every month in order to maintain healthy skin. 

Contrary to popular belief, vellus hair, as opposed to terminal hair, will not grow back thicker, darker or coarser.
